A fine character study entitled 'Beachcomber' and designed by Mary Nicholl. A bearded figure sits on a sack of scallop shells as he examines his latest find. Richly coloured with shot enamels which give a silky matt finish to the glaze. Issued between 1973-1976, it's a first quality item in excellent condition. Printed Royal Doulton mark with registration applied for. Height 16.5cm (6.5in)
