A large round majolica bread platter with a border of wheat and a central panel of interlaced sickles on a mottled tortoiseshell ground. Good colours and in great antique condition. No chips, cracks or restoration and minor signs of wear. A lovely example of 19th century majolica that displays beautifully. Unmarked. Diameter 31.75cm (12.5in)
