Rare Wedgwood Majolica 'Luther' Aesthetic Movement Oval Platter c1887

A beautiful Wedgwood majolica platter in the aesthetic movement 'Luther' design. Radiating panels of urns with stylised fruiting branches against a textured background of fish scales, greek key and basket weave. A lovely glaze with bright majolica colours. 'Impressed 'Wedgwood' with date code for 1887 and painted pattern number 3407. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Width 31.5cm (12.4in)
