Rare Wedgwood Majolica 'Grape Vine and Basket Weave' Plate c1874

A colourful Wedgwood majolica plate with twining relief moulded grape vines on a basket weave background. Rich glazes create a stunning effect. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration (some minor age related staining to the reverse). Rare to find this multi-coloured version, especially in such good order. Impressed 'Wedgwood', painted pattern reference 1291 and date code for 1874. Diameter 22.9cm (9in)
