Rare Vintage Royal Winton 'Marguerite' Chintz Ascot Jam Pot (A/F) c1939

A rare vintage Royal Winton 'Marguerite' art deco Ascot shape jam pot with fine period chrome lid and gilt trim around the base. There are a couple of chips, one just under the rim (see image 4) and one under the foot rim (image 5). Neither shows when on display. The cream plastic knob also has an age crack to it (image 4). Nevertheless a rare and lovely piece that displays the pattern well. Late 1930's Royal Winton Grimwades mark. Height 10.75cm (4.25in)
