Rare Vintage Royal Winton 'Cheadle' Chintz Preserve Pot and Base c1951

A lovely Royal Winton 'Cheadle' chintz Ascot preserve pot and cover with original under tray, which was also meant to serve as a butter plate. Rare to find complete as often the pieces get separated. A great example of this very pretty design. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some mild crazing to the base tray, but nothing to detract. 'Royal Winton' mark with pattern name and Canadian/USA registrations. Height 9cm (3.5in), width of under tray 11.25cm (4.4in)
