Rare Thomas Webb 'Bronze' Glass Iridescent Posy Vase c1885

A rare iridescent glass 'Bronze' vase by Thomas Webb. Similar to Richardson's 'brain' glass, this Webb's piece has a slightly different surface decoration with more striations. Good depth of colour and in excellent condition; no chips or cracks and little sign of wear. Finely polished pontil mark to base. Height 7.5cm (2.9in)
