An unusual French majolica vase in the style of Bernard Palissy. An organic trumpet shape applied with blue and pink moths and supported by squid-like fungus on a circular base. Hand modelled and richly glazed. The interior of the vase is a lovely cream with turquoise edge. In excellent condition; rare to find in this type of majolica. Impressed 'TS' to base. Height 10.2cm (4in)
