Rare Susie Cooper Crown Works Silver Lustre Kestrel Jug and Basin c1932

A stunning Crown Works Pottery Kestrel shape cream jug and sugar basin with hand painted stylised art deco flowers in silver lustre on a pale blue ground. The interiors washed with a deeper violet/blue to create a lovely contrast. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear or use. A rare design from the early 1930s. Printed Susie Cooper Production marks. Height of jug 7.75cm (3in)
