Rare Spode 'Willow' Pattern Radish or Root Dish c1820

An unusual Spode radish or root dish printed in medium blue with their Willow pattern introduced for new shapes c1820. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Shows little sign of wear or use - fine overall age related crazing, though really only noticed on close scrutiny and nothing to detract from this lovely item. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Spode workman's mark printed in underglaze blue. Length 24.75cm (9.75in)
