Information
A lovely Spode scalloped serving dish with rope twist handles. Called 'pans' in the Spode archives* they came in three sizes, this being the middle size. Printed in medium blue inside and out with the 'Tower' pattern - a view of the bridge of Salaro with fishermen on the river bank and three large birds in the foreground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Lovely blue rippled glaze. Printed SPODE with workman's mark. Diameter 17.75cm (7in)
