A fine indented soup plate in Spode's 'Grasshopper' pattern printed in medium blue with a flower and fence design. Framed with a floral border taken from the 'Group' pattern as opposed to the standard Chinoiserie border of moths and scrolls. A rare combination to find. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Printed 'SPODE Stone China' Chinese seal mark in blue. Diameter 24.75cm (9.75in)
