A beautiful feldspar bone china posy vase. The addition of feldspar to the body produced a fine quality and hard wearing china which Spode called 'Felspar Porcelain'. Decorated with 'famille rose' enamels, the design depicts Chinese figures collecting sprays of blossom in a garden landscape*. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. A rare item to find, especially in such good order. Lovely beaded rims. Printed 'Spode, Felspar Porcelain' mark with painted pattern number 3644. Height 8.5cm (3.35in)
