A distinctive Spode pattern derived from Chinese sources, Printed in medium to dark blue, 'Chinese Dragon' or 'Dragons' usually decorates bone china breakfast and tea services. Covered muffin dishes were sold separately as an addition to standard services and not many turn up from this early period. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Colourless glaze on a fine white porcelain body. Printed Spode in underglaze blue. Diameter of base 20cm (7.9in)
