Rare Shelley Art Deco Pattern 11558 Lomond Sandwich Set c1927

A fine bone china Lomond shape sandwich set (tray and six plates) with a pretty art deco pattern hand enamelled in red, yellow, green and blue with orange/yellow trim. All pieces in excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear or use. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Printed Shelley marks with painted pattern number 11558 (28 patterns within the range 11529 to 11696 were used on the Lomond shape between 1926 and 1929). Length of tray 33.25cm (13.1in), width of plates 13.75cm (5.4in)
