A fine Royal Doulton shape 7349 posy vase, sometimes called the Empire State vase because of the finned art deco shape. The vase depicts scene 4 of 10 known scenes - a single old man under a tree. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some mild crazing typical of these wares, but nothing to detract from this rare little gem. Printed Royal Doulton with series marks, registered Australian design number and impressed shape 7349. Height 9.5cm (3.75in)
