Rare Royal Doulton 'Skating' Series Ware Mug D2789 c1910 (Sold)

A lovely mug depicting several characters from the early series 'Skating' introduced in 1907. One side showing a boy knocking a skater's hat off with a snowball, the other side showing an unsteady skater being pushed along by a boy. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine all over crazing, though nothing to detract from this rare item. Printed Royal Doulton, England mark and painted series number. Height 7.75cm (3in)
