Rare Royal Doulton 'Skating' Series D2789 Concord Jug c1910

A large Concord shape jug depicting several characters from the series 'Skating' introduced in 1907. Featured are a man with cane and a couple skating, a man about to fall and three skaters, one unsteady. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine age related crazing associated with these wares and only noticed under close scrutiny and nothing to detract from the display value of this lovely item. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Printed Royal Doulton, England mark and painted series number D2789. Height 20.5cm (8.1in)
