A lovely little Royal Doulton Dickens 'F' Series Ware vase modelled in low relief and featuring Sam Weller from 'Pickwick Papers'. The glaze colours in rich hand painted tones. A rare item in great condition apart from a tiny pinhead chip near the base on the reverse, barely noticeable (see image 5). Royal Doulton and Registered in Australia backstamps with pattern number D5864. Height 7.5cm (2.9in)
