An unusual Royal Doulton Dickens Ware 'A' Series matchbox holder, striker and cigarette dispenser. Depicts Sam Weller on the front and Mr Micawber on the reverse. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some age related crazing typical of these wares, but nothing to detract from this rare item. Indistinctly signed Noke. Royal Doulton backstamp with registration number 768178 and painted pattern number D5175. Height 8.75cm (3.4in)
