A superb Royal Doulton Dickens Ware 'A' Series miniature Tudor shape jug designed by Charles Noke. Depicts the impecunious Mr Micawber from 'David Copperfield'. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine age crazing only really noticeable when magnified. A very rare shape to find in miniature. 'Noke' signature. Royal Doulton backstamp with Copyright and incised shape number 992. Height 6cm (2.35in)
