A vintage Royal Doulton ashtray featuring the Ark Royal - Lord Howard's flagship against the Spanish Armada in 1588. One of 17 Famous Ships in the series and not seen that often. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration, not even crazed. Royal Doulton and series backstamp, inscribed shape 8288 and date impressed June 1941. Width 13.4cm (5.25in)
