A lovely series of twenty scenes depicting the Cotswold Shepherd introduced in 1933. This is a large bowl which shows the shepherd with crook and lantern, his dog sitting beside him with sheep in the distance. Fine colours and in excellent condition, not even crazed. Royal Doulton mark with 'The Cotswold Shepherd' and painted series number. Impressed date for 1935. Diameter 20.75cm (8.15ins)
