A fine miniature twin handled vase featuring two of the six Christmas Santa Claus themes from this early series (1904-1914). The front shows Father Christmas with his sack climbing into a chimney. The reverse depicts him holding balloons in front of a toy laden sleigh with reindeer and a seasonal message 'The yearly course, On this day about, Shall never see it, But a holiday'. Border of bells around the rim. In excellent condition; no chips , cracks or restoration. A rare item to find, especially in such good order. Printed Royal Doulton, England mark in green. Height 7cm (2.75in)
