A fine miniature jug featuring one of the six Christmas Santa Claus themes from this early series (1904-1914). Shows Father Christmas with his arms full of toys and balloons in front of his sleigh and reindeer. A seasonal quote on the reverse 'Let not the hearts, whose sorrow cannot call, This Christmas merry, slight the festival'. Border of bells around the rim. In excellent condition; no chips , cracks or restoration. A rare item to find, especially in such good order. Printed Royal Doulton, England mark in green. Height 6.75cm (2.6in)
