An unusual Coaching Days (yellow coach) cup and saucer, the cup depicting a man with trunk, coach approaching through the snow; the saucer with attendant tightening the harness, goose and hare hanging from the rear of the coach. Designed by Victor Venner (fl.1904-24). In great condition. Royal Doulton lion, crown and circle mark and saucer with impressed date for 1923. Diameter of saucer 14cm (5.5in)
