A superb TH pattern 199 shape vase in white earthenware designed by Truda Carter. Stylised 'jazzy' flowers and leaves in grey, green, sepia and black enamels on a pastel green glaze. Expertly painted by Hilda Trim. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. An unusual colourway not seen that often. Pink slip base impressed POOLE ENGLAND, painted pattern reference TH with decorator's mark for Hilda Trim and incised shape 199. Height 15cm (5.9in)
