Rare 'Pashkov Palace, Moscow' Pattern Dinner Plate c1820

A fine indented dinner plate printed in medium blue with a view of the Pashkov Palace in Moscow which was built in 1784. A lovely scene framed by a floral border which includes roses and passion flowers on a stippled ground. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Unmarked and maker unknown, though thought to have been produced primarily for export to Russia. Single foot rim. Diameter 25cm (9.8in)
