Rare Mason's Patent Ironstone China 'Japan Basket' Broth Pot c1825

An early Mason's octagonal broth pot and cover with ornate dragon handles and Dog of Fo finial. Decorated with the rich ironstone colours of the 'Japan Basket' pattern. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. A rare item to find, especially in such good order. Displays beautifully. Blue printed Mason's crown mark. Width with handles 22cm (8.7in)
