Rare Large Carlton Ware Green 'Primula' Salad Bowl c1939

A superb Carlton Ware green primula large salad bowl. The largest bowl in this range and something of a rarity.  A good colour; the flowers are large and a nice shade of pink and the green is a nice medium depth. Shows signs of use, though well loved; without chips , cracks or restoration. Fine crazing, more noticeable on the base underneath, with some staining and a star crack which doesn't go through to the front (see image 5). Displays beautifully nonetheless.
