A superb hand painted Maddock cheese dish from their thatched cottage 'Rustic' range. One of the finest cottage ware ranges with lots of detail, including the maker's initials 'JM' above the door. In excellent order - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. A rare item to find, especially in such good condition. Printed John Maddock & Sons Rustic mark with shape registration number 740521. Length of base 18.25cm (7.2in)
