Rare Grimwade's WW1 Bruce Bairnsfather Ware Old Bill - 'Where Did That One Go To?' Cream Jug c1918

A fine Grimwade's Bruce Bairnsfather cream jug depicting one of his 'Old Bill' cartoons 'Where did that one go to?'. The reverse features a WW1 tank. Printed in sepia with B. B. Belgium 1915 signature. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. The gilding is rubbed around the rim in places, though this doesn't really detract from this rare example. Printed Old Bill caricature to the base. Height 8.5cm (3.3in)
