Rare Grimwades Royal Winton Art Deco 'Lakeland' Sugar Shaker c1936

A rare art deco period Grimwades sugar shaker in 'Lakeland' - beautifully hand painted in bright colours with lots of detail. In good condition, no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine age related micro crazing of the glaze and some minor wear to the enamels round the base, typical of these wares. A beautiful display item, first introduced in 1936. Marked 'Lakeland' with 'Registration no. 810588'. Height 13.4cm (5.25in)
