Rare Early Spode 'Tiber' or 'Rome' Rectangular Baking Dish c1815

A lovely Spode rectangular baking dish printed in medium blue with a view of Rome from the Tiber, with Castello St. Angelo, Trajan's Column and St. Peter's. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little signs of wear (some age related rubbing to the base corners underneath). Rare to find, especially in such good order. No foot rim and a lovely pale blue rippled glaze. Printed Spode in a rectangle. Width 24cm (9.4in)
