Rare Early Shelley 'Humpty Dumpty' and 'Boo boo' Nursery Ware Mug c1920

A lovely Shelley pottery child's mug "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall". A sepia print with hand coloured enamels of Humpty Dumpty and a print of a Mabel Lucie Attwell Boo Boo with watering can to the reverse. A rare example of Shelley's early use of Mabel Lucie Attwell designs. In excellent condition; no chips or cracks. Green 'Shelley, England' backstamp. Height 8cm (3.1in)
