A superb Mason's 'Bandana' hydra jug. Printed in black with the detail painted in iron red. A Chinoiserie design with mythical creatures; the overall brocaded effect is very striking. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. A rare pattern to find on an early piece, especially in such good order. Printed Mason's Patent Ironstone China mark in black.
