A lovely bone china vase painted with an underwater scene of a mermaid with fish. Beautiful pastel colours on a soft ivory blush ground. The rim is finely moulded with stylised aesthetic movement daisies and the neck decorated with raised gilding. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some mild crazing really only seen under magnification, typical of these wares and nothing to detract. Printed Doulton Burslem mark. Height 17.5cm (6.9in)
