A rare Named Italian Views tart or pudding dish printed in a medium blue with a 'View near Taormina'. Framed with a lovely border of flowers against a stippled ground with leaves and two prominent putti holding garlands. In great condition, showing little sign of wear and no chips, cracks or restoration. Some age related crazing mentioned for accuracy and nothing to detract from this seldom seen item. Finely potted with pearlware blue rippled glaze and no foot rim. Unmarked. Diameter 21.5cm (8.45in)
