Rare Davidson's Yellow Pearline Glass 'Richelieu' Double Hors d'oeuvre Dish c1890

The 'Richelieu' pattern was introduced by Davidson's in 1885 with registration number 96945. This large double dish with handle is a stunning example. A lovely depth of colour and opalescence with crisp moulding, In great overall condition, there are a couple of 'straw' lines and a small manufacturing 'bruise' where a patch of colour has gathered (see image 5), though nothing to detract from the display value of this very rare shape and pattern. The shape is rare even in clear flint glass and I've never seen one in yellow pearline.
