A fine Davenport set of three miniature coffee cans and saucers with Imari style panels of flowers in cobalt blue, iron red and green. Finished with masses of best gold, it's a striking design on unusual shapes which were probably intended as traveller's samples or for a single shot of coffee. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little wear to the gilding. Painted pattern numbers and one saucer printed 'Davenport, Longport, Staffordshire'. Diameter of saucers 6.75cm (2.65in), height of cups 4.5cm (1.75in)
