A lovely feeding cup in Spode's 'Tower' pattern introduced in 1815. Based on a Merigot aquatint 'The Bridge of Salaro near Porta Salaro'. A fine example in excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Very rare to find items like this is in such good order as they were so prone to damage. Printed 'Copeland' in underglaze blue. Overall length with spout 15cm (5.9in)
