Rare Copeland late Spode 'British Flowers' Feeding Cup c1830 (Sold)

An excellent feeding cup in Spode's very pretty 'British Flowers' pattern introduced c1820. Beautifully patterned on the top, around the body, the inside rim, around the end of the spout and along the line of the handle. A fine example which cannot be faulted; in exceptional condition without chips, cracks or restoration. Very rare to find items like this is in such good condition as they were so prone to damage. Fully marked 'Copeland late Spode' in underglaze blue and impressed '12'. Overall length 16.5cm (6.5in)
