Rare Complete Susie Cooper Crown Works Pottery Silver Lustre Kestrel Coffee Set c1932

A stunning Crown Works Kestrel shape coffee set for six with hand painted stylised art deco flowers in silver lustre on a pale ice blue ground. The coffee cans, jug and bowl are washed inside with a deeper violet/blue to create a lovely contrast. Most of it looks unused and in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. One coffee can has a couple of hairlines and another has a tiny piece of silver missing from the rim. Nothing really to detract from the display value of this rare design from the early 1930s.
