Rare Clarice Cliff Bizarre 'Orange V' Clog or Sabot c1930

A large size sabot beautifully painted in the very rare 'Orange V' produced briefly in 1930. Bold and intricate, black lines and blocks of yellow and orange V shapes and semi-circles make it a striking example. Around twenty pieces are known to exist, making it probably one of the rarest abstract designs. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little signs of wear. Fully marked 'Bizarre by Clarice Cliff'. Overall length 14cm (5.5in)
