Rare Clarice Cliff Bizarre 'Delecia Daisy' Twin Preserve Dish c1933

Produced in small quantities in 1933, the daisy pattern is probably the rarest of the delecia floral patterns. This is a superb double preserve dish (the shape books call it a 'twin jam') and it shows the design to great effect. Beautifully painted purple/pink and blue daisies lined in yellow and underlined with a black shadow which sets them against blue and green delecia 'runnings'. Bright colours in good order. The condition of the dish is excellent; without chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. An unusual and charming piece.
