Rare Clarice Cliff Bizarre 'Blue Chintz' Shell Cruet c1932

Beautifully painted Clarice Cliff 'Shell' or bullet shaped salt and mustard pots. Probably the smallest pieces of Clarice produced, the mustard pot being the most difficult item to find and usually the only piece to bear the Bizarre mark. Both in excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and no fading or oxidisation. Fantasque Bizarre by Clarice Cliff signature to the mustard base. Height of mustard 4.75cm (1.9in)
