Information
An early large Stamford teapot beautifully decorated with bold autumn crocuses. Complemented with burnt orange and yellow trim to the lid and handle which accentuates this classic art deco shape. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and showing minimum signs of wear. A couple of minor points to mention for accuracy - there is a tiny (pin prick) glaze imperfection near the rim and inside the lid there is a small stain which doesn't show (see image 4). Still rare to find Stamford teapots in such good order, especially this larger size. 'Bizarre by Clarice Cliff' lithograph signature and stamped 'Registration Applied For' (to protect the shape against copies). Height with lid 13.75cm (5.4in)
