A superb hand painted Carlton Ware biscuit jar in the form of an orange with orange blossom handle grips holding the original wicker handle. Bright art deco colours and in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration - looks like it's had little use, so no wear or scratching to the paint work. A rare item to find, especially in such good order. Printed Carlton Ware script mark with registration design number 756784. Height with lid 15.9cm (6.25in)
