A superb Bough Pottery ginger jar and cover by Richard Amour, brother of Glasgow School graduate Elizabeth Amour. An impressive item beautifully painted with magnolias on a lovely donkey grey ground. A fantastic piece in great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Some age related crazing, though nothing to detract from the display value of this very rare example of Scottish pottery. Painted Bough, pattern reference number and initials RA with printed backstamp "Made in Scotland". Height 17.25cm (6.75in)
