A rare vintage Beswick 'Peacock' butterfly wall plaque. Designed by Albert Hallam and produced in limited numbers, they are difficult to find especially in good order. Beautifully hand painted in bright naturalistic colours with a fine gloss glaze. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. The original wire antennae are missing, but it still displays beautifully. Printed and impressed marks with BESWICK ENGLAND and model number 1489.
